I joined the Chamber of Commerce and I was so shy and uncomfortable at the first meeting. I just attended the fall meeting of my 2nd year of membership, and I feel so much more comfortable! And it's so weird, people who need your services just come up to you and ask you if you can help. I've gotten two clients at these meetings without having to sell myself. Have fun! These meetings are about meeting interesting people, too!
