Paul, educated
as an attorney, and Sarah, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker,
brought their careers home in 1974 and have been happily working
and living under one roof ever since! As pioneer Entrepreneurial Parents, the Edwards loved being
home to raise their son Jon (now a game design software engineer),
and they loved working together as a couple. With the
advent of personal computers in the early 80's, they realized
that what they now call the "open-collar" workforce
would soon emerge and began researching the work-at-home phenomenon.
Today Paul and
Sarah have earned the reputation of being the nation's "self-employed
gurus." Combined sales of their eight books total over one
million copies, and their nationally syndicated column "Your
Home Office" is distributed weekly in newspapers across
the country. Paul and Sarah are also keynote speakers for professional
and trade associations, and have appeared frequently on national
radio and TV shows as well as in nearly 100 U.S. cities.
In addition,
the Edwards are in their ninth year of producing and co-hosting
their hour-long radio show Working from Home on the Business News Network, and for
two years they also hosted the weekly television show Working from Home with
